13th Annual Summer Safety Fair
The Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU Summer Safety Fair is an interactive, fun and educational event for patients and community children. The fair was created in 1999 by pediatric resident, Judy Barto, M.D. Her vision was to decrease and prevent accidents and injuries through safety skills education. The fair has expanded over the years and has educated thousands of community children on more than 20 safety and injury prevention topics.
